Pick up from Brisbane City hotels will be between 8:00 - 8:15 am.
Feel like a movie star as you sink into the luxury Lugano leather seats and stretch out in complete comfort behind privacy glass in one of our prestige Mercedes Benz V250 vehicles.
With panoramic views, a fully air-conditioned passenger compartment and ample legroom you will be treated to five-star, personalised service from our friendly and knowledgeable staff who know our destinations intimately.
We then head off through the Australian countryside to the small rural town of Aratula set within the beautiful Scenic Rim. This will be our morning tea stop, with tea or coffee and freshly baked treats.
Next stop is Killarney - another scenic gem of south-east Queensland. Killarney is an old timber and dairy town, named by Irish settlers and now the centre of a thriving mixed-farming district.
A short drive brings us to Daggs Falls lookout point which provides an impressive view of the 38 metre falls spilling over the basalt ledge. This lookout is close to the roadside and easily accessible.
A further 3.5 kilometres along the road we arrive at Queen Mary Falls which is part of the headwaters of one of Australia's longest river systems. This joins the upper reaches of the Condamine River which runs into the Murray-Darling. Here you have the choice of two walks to view this 40 metre plunge waterfall. The first walk is an easy 400 metre return which takes you to a lookout at the top of the falls. For the more adventurous, there is the option of a 2 kilometre return walk to view the falls from creek level. Along the walking track we will see changes in vegetation from the eucalypt-covered ridge top to the rainforest gorge below.
Another short drive brings us to Carr's Lookout. We will stop here for an excellent view of the mountains of the Scenic Rim over the Condamine Gorge. Our lunch stop is the nearby Spring Creek Mountain Café.
From here we turn for home via the Head Road with picturesque mountain scenery. Listen for the Bell Birds. On a clear day, you may also be able to spot Teviot Falls in the distance.
On the way back to your hotel, we pass through Boonah another of the quaint country towns in this picturesque region. We will stop for afternoon tea in a heritage listed building to enjoy a "Devonshire Tea" before heading back to Brisbane, from where you can choose from our wide range of tours including to the Glass House Mountains.
You'll feel as though you have been out with trusted friends for the day. We'll make your Day Tour memorable for all the right reasons.
