Option1 - Standard Day Tour

Pick up from Brisbane City hotels will be between 8:00 - 8:15 am.

 

Feel like a movie star as you sink into the luxury Lugano leather seats and stretch out in complete comfort behind privacy glass in one of our prestige Mercedes Benz V250 vehicles.

 

With panoramic views, a fully air-conditioned passenger compartment and ample legroom you will be treated to five-star, personalised service from our friendly and knowledgeable staff who know our destinations intimately.

 

Our first stop is the summit of nearby Mt Coot-tha - Brisbane's highest point. With 360 degree views over Brisbane you will have the opportunity to take some photos and get an overview of where we will be travelling to today.

 

Option: Brisbane Botanic Gardens at Mt Coot-tha or Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

 

Our next stop is either Brisbane Botanic Gardens or Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary - the largest and oldest Koala Sanctuary in the world. There are also kangaroos, wombats, possums, dingoes, Tasmanian devils, the elusive and unique platypus and much more. We will spend approximately 2 hours here - with our morning tea stop included.

If you have chosen the gardens instead, you can wander through the arid and cactus zone, bonsai house, fern house, herb garden, Japanese garden, lagoon and bamboo grove, rainforest area, or the tropical display dome. There is also a café for refreshments and light meals.

 

There is an option to visit the Dr Red Vineyard* at Mt Nebo which is situated on the eastern side of Brisbane Forest Park overlooking Samford Valley. As well as grape vines, the property is planted with coffee and olive trees which are used in the range of products. *(Not always available).

 

We will stop at various lookouts on the way up the mountain for views over the Brisbane region.

 

Our lunch stop will be at Mt Glorious - a little village in the heart of the rainforest situated in the D'Aguilar Range. This National Park area is Maiala which means 'quiet place'.

 

After lunch we travel through the picturesque Samford Valley on our way to Redcliffe. If time permits, we will stop at either the Samford Historical Museum or The Slab Hut Gallery.

 

Next stop is Redcliffe - Queensland's first European settlement city - on the northern side of Moreton Bay. This is a popular seaside location with locals. We will spend time here exploring Bee Gees Way- a Tribute to the World Famous Pop Group, who lived in the region. We will have our afternoon tea stop in this area before heading back to Brisbane.

 

Our final stop is Southbank Parklands where you will be given some time to explore. You may choose to ride The Wheel of Brisbane (additional cost) or just stroll through the arbour or along the river bank.

 

On the way back to your hotel, we will travel past some of Brisbane's historic buildings.

 

You'll feel as though you have been out with trusted friends for the day. We'll make sure your day is memorable for all the right reasons.

 

Price:    $250.00 per person     (Includes wine tasting at Dr Red Winery*  morning tea and afternoon tea).

Lunch is at guests' own expense.

 

 *Dr Red Winery is subject to availability. Please advise when booking if this a must-see for you. Stops at various lookouts are substituted when the winery is not available.

Note!! Entry to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is an additional $30.00 per person.

Driving Time: 3 hours 15 mins Distance covered: 160 km

 

This tour is available 7 days per week.

 

 

Option 2 - Brisbane - History & Heritage Shore Excusion (6 hours duration)

Pick up from Cruise Ship Terminal (Hamilton or Port of Brisbane). Time will be confirmed when booking. We will then drive through Brisbane City via Kingsford-Smith Drive to view some of the Historical City buildings.

 

We then leave the City via Milton Road driving past Suncorp Stadium, XXXX Brewery and Toowong Cemetery.

After lunch we travel to Southbank Parklands where you will be given some time to explore. You may choose to ride The Wheel of Brisbane or just stroll through the arbour or along the river bank.

 

Our next stop is Kangaroo Point Cliffs for a different perspective overlooking Brisbane City. You may have afternoon tea at this location. We will then travel over the Story Bridge on our way to view Newstead House - Brisbane's oldest residence.

 

We will then return to your Cruise Ship via Kingsford Smith drive in time for your departure.

 

Price:    $350.00 per person     (Includes  Entry to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, morning tea, 2 course lunch, entry to Wheel of Brisbane and afternoon tea).

 

Tour Times:  To be confirmed, depending on cruise ship timetable. Approximate duration is 6 hours.

 

Option:  Upgrade to a  Private Tour for two people exclusively  - total cost - $1,000.00 AUD with the same inclusions.

 

This tour is available 7 days per week.

 

 

Option 3 - "Taste Brisbane" - Boutique Dining Experience

 

Pick up from Brisbane City hotels will be:  4:30 - 4:45 pm.

 

Sit back and relax while we travel to the bayside suburb of Cleveland for our first stop of the evening.

 

Take in the  uninterrupted views  of North Stradbroke Island, Peel Island and Moreton Bay while you enjoy your entrée at The Lighthouse Restaurant, located on the ocean's edge.

 

We then travel into the inner city for your main course at Spicer's Balfour Kitchen at New Farm. Get a different perspective on the  city from the rooftop bar or from nearby Wilson's  Outlook.

 

Dessert will be at The Summit Restaurant, Mt Coot-tha Lookout  - Brisbane's highest point.  After dinner, check out the 360 degree views over Brisbane before being returned to your Brisbane hotel.

 

Drop off at City hotels will be:   approximately 10:00 pm.

 

Price:   $250.00 per person  - all inclusive

 

Includes: 3 course meal; a glass of wine or beer with entrée and main course; tea or coffee with dessert plus sightseeing and transportation in a luxury vehicle.
